Frankurt/Vlotho. At the ISH 2011 Koralle not only presented a comprehensive shower stall range with its new “myDay” concept, but also revealed itself as a manufacturer whose design ideas are setting trends in the intermediate price range. Here for the first time the door handle of the shower partition was attached to the profile which makes the series instantly identifiable and lends it a particularly slim-line and aesthetic appearance. Under the name of “myDay Comfort” the broad range has also received a series of generously proportioned showering areas, with which elegant barrier-free bathrooms – for which there is an increasing demand – can be combined.

The extensions to existing series shown in Frankfurt also include the shower partition “Koralle S550 by Antonio Citterio”. This designer series introduced last year for the intermediate price range has been expanded to include three new models. Flat, very angular profiles in high-gloss silver give the framed swing door series their characteristic shape. The wellknown Milanese architect and designer Antonio Citterio, running counter to the trend towards frameless shower partitions, has cleverly adapted the principle of the Faraday cage.

In addition, the manufacturer displayed at the ISH the elegantly designed flat shower tray series Terra, which has now been extended to include three convenient new sizes. In addition to the new lines, the structural shower partition TerraShower Concept, the high-quality shower series Koralle S600, and the flat shower trays ClarissaPlus, were to be seen at the booth in Hall 3.1.

According to information supplied by Reginald Thal Koralle made a good showing last year in the shower and bathtub segment, despite the downward market trend. The sales director declared in Frankfurt that the company is well-positioned in all business segments and would meet the anticipated rise in demand for 2011 with a lot of commitment. “Especially in the field of specially proportioned, custom-made products we have managed to steadily improve our position, because more and more planners and craftsmen rely on the tested and guaranteed reliability of a competent brand-name manufacturer.“

Koralle Sanitärprodukte GmbH of Vlotho is one of the leading German brand-name manufacturers of shower partitions. Apart from partitions, the product range comprises shower and bathtubs as well as ready-made showers. With its sister company Keramag AG Koralle belongs to the Finnish Sanitec Group, which has about 8,000 employees and 25 production facilities, making it one of Europe’s leading producers of sanitary wear, bathtubs and showers.
