Frankfurt/Vlotho. All straight swing-doors from the series known for its puristic design and large variety of models Edition can now also be fitted without splash guard. At the ISH 2009 in Frankfurt the shower enclosure and bathtub manufacturer from Vlotho introduced new solutions for comfortable access.

The wings of the doors of this model have their pivot point at the wall and open both towards the inside and the outside. A 45-degree magnetic closure ensures, combined with innovative hinge-sealing, optimal splash and flood water protection. The new swing doors come in the standard heights of 1,950 and 1,850 mm and the corresponding width for shower trays in the sizes 700, 750, 800, 900 and 1,000 mm. Tailor-made solutions  are offered in heights of 1,400 to 2,100 mm and in the widths of 500 to 1,000 mm. Doors in varying width can be combined with rectangular shower trays.

The Edition shower enclosure is available in single panel safety glass or to a limited extent, in polyrit glass with swing-doors, sliding elements, folding or wing-doors in up to eight sizes depending on type. This creates a new flexibility in the adjustment of the floor plan. The standard height of 1,950 mm facilitates especially extremely flat shower trays or those flush with the floor such as Koralle T900, Terra or ClarissaPlus.

Koralle, the specialist for bathroom design products that create that special bathroom ambience and appeal, has with this minimalist design of this series created a timeless, sophisticated look that is subtle while still signifying quality and value. At the same time the elegant shower enclosure harmonises with many ceramic styles offered by the different brands. Of particular interest are the contrasts in form through the unusual combination of pipe and tape design in the area of the profiles. As a consequence of this feature the shower enclosures also match many fittings, which are nowadays frequently available as pipe or band designs. All profiles are available in silver matt or silver gloss, or coated in sanitary colours, thereby enhancing the elegant overall impression.

For sanitary fitters the quick installation and assembly of all versions is of particular interest, facilitated by: step-free width-adjustments of 20 mm on either side, pre-assembled fixed elements and door elements for swing doors, positioning in both closed and open condition, door adjustment from the top and corner consoles integrated at the hinge profile with locking device.
